Weather, footy, and the US of A...

Went to the Channel 10 'Extreme Weather' Calendar launch on Thursday. One of my photos was lucky enough to be selected so I'm now known as 'Mr April' lol... no its not a photo of me - its this photo of a storm just nth of Eudunda taken in December last year.

NOT a good weekend in the football with the Crows losing and Port winning... means we play Port in the semi-final next weekend. Might just have to move to QLD if port happen to win... I could not handle it!!

Meanwhile it appears we are seeing the 'real' USA as a result of the hurricane that affected New Orleans and surrounds... perhaps a little more focus on the little people and less money spent on arms, wars, and making the rich 'richer'...

I mus say... that I do like your pic... It is beautiful! Storms are amazing...

And in regards to the US... what is going on in the South is a bad reflection on my country, but I can't apologize for half a nation.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog and post a comment!
Thanks also for the kind words on my storm photo.
My comments regarding the US are more to do with the government and its lack of response to this disaster, and its previous lack of attention to its own people's needs...

Oh, hey not a problem!! Just popping in is always fun!

I have always wanted to chase storms, but don't know how to get into it. I may be dubbed as crazy, but I guess it'd fit the mold!

I wish I could take good pictures... Some people who blog on here have astounding photos. I barely can take them of my child let alone nature's beauty!!

And no need to defend what you wrote, it's your blog!! I just was stating the truth. Our government is a chain of command here and as we all know you need to go through the proper channels to get things done. It's just sad that so many people have had to go through this devasation! So you take it easy and I will be back!!

just to be the bringer of bad news.....the federal government isn't supposed to do anything for those people affected, they *choose* to help.

if anything, its the fault of the state and the individuals who stayed.

yay state's rights!

okay, sorry..i'm done. awesome pic by the way :)
